We rented a used Scania R440 with a mileage of 420,000 km. On a flat road, it provides enough power, but when going uphill, you can definitely feel its significant drawback. The average fuel consumption is 26-30 liters, and the handling is easy. The steering wheel has high-quality power steering. The cabin is spacious and equipped with everything for comfortable long-haul trips: a comfortable sleeping berth, a heated seat, a reliable refrigerator, and decent acoustics. Next time, I will opt for the Scania R450 model, which is more popular, as it may not have the issue of lacking power.

We have added a Scania R113 to our fleet. The machine is practical and we have no major complaints after a year of use. However, there was one incident where the pulley broke 90 km before reaching our destination. During winter, the tractor had difficulty starting three times after being parked for several hours. We had to use ether to get it going. Prior to using the Scania, we had a MAZ, and I can't say that it was any worse. I expected more from a European tractor, so I wouldn't recommend it.

I worked with this Scania, the car is great. I drove it for one and a half years, covering a distance of 150,000 km. There were four of us in the car. The only repairs it required were regular maintenance and tire changes. We also had to weld the body, but that's it.

We rented a Scania G380 for 4 months. The machine is capable of transporting up to 15 tons of cargo. Any slight overload immediately weakens its pulling power. We took a tractor with HPI, but it broke down after a month of work. We had to return the machine to the lessor prematurely. This was not part of our plans, so it caused downtime. We had a better opinion of this model.

In a few words, I can describe the machine as very reliable and low-maintenance, only the oils, filters, and minor things were changed.

We bought the Scania 124 based on recommendations. There are no questions about its technical specifications. However, a few weeks ago, we noticed that the cabin had shifted to the left and started rubbing against the plastic. A noticeable gap appeared on the left side. We found this strange because we hadn't been involved in any accidents, and we take good care of the vehicle. The service center discovered that the silent blocks had been improperly installed. They quickly resolved this issue at the service center.

Worked on the G480. 10 years old. Three-axle. No shock absorbers on the rear axles, it jumped like a flea. The suspension looks weak, but it seems to ride well. There are no silent blocks, so it knocks on turns apparently. Good maneuverability. The body is not very good, heats up poorly.

In my fleet, I have 2 Scania R420 trucks. Overall, these machines are decent. The average fuel consumption on the route from Kiev to Uzhhorod is up to 28 liters per kilometer. It's worth mentioning that the trucks are loaded with over 20 tons. One of them has a mileage of 200,000 kilometers, while the other has reached 500,000 kilometers. The latter one already requires a clutch replacement. Maintenance costs are high. Fortunately, it's not difficult to find a suitable service station.

For work in a quarry with gravel, definitely go for Scania or Volvo. I chose Scania for myself and it is perhaps the best truck in the world... the camera is excellent... the quality is superb... so go ahead and get one for yourself, don't hesitate, good luck to everyone.

After 3 years of working with the Р340 Scanias, I can confidently say that Scania is simply overhyped. In my opinion, it's better to have 2 Chinese machines than 1 Scania. The cost is twice as high and the spare parts are cheap. And it's not very reliable... especially the suspension.
